RECREATIONAL OPTIONS
Due to the geographical location of Penrith Farms, recreational possibilities
abound. Clients are exposed to a combination of rural and urban opportunities,
both on and off site.
On-Site
- Young adults may hike and bike on our network of trails and off
road areas for fun and exercise
- Yoga is provided on-site.
- Penrith Farms features a half-court basketball
area for client use
- Multiple ponds (including a 4-acre pond), a scenic
waterfall, and on-site creeks provide clients with safe and beautiful
canoeing, fishing,
and swimming areas
- In the winter months, clients may explore the farm’s
backcountry by Nordic skis and snowshoes
- When the ponds are adequately frozen,
clients may engage in ice fishing, ice skating, or a light-hearted
game of hockey
- An art studio is located on premises.
Supervised Off-Site
- Club Energy is a local gym with all the amenities
of a big-city health club, including personal trainers, specialized
classes, a climbing wall, and state-of-the-art equipment. Specialized classes include: Cardio
Kickbox, Beginning Yoga, Pilates, Supercardio Sculpt, Spinning, and others. For

- Karate and gymnastics classes are available locally

- The community also offers an adult open-gym for basketball
